    The only car for that is the Mercedes-Benz W116 450SEL 6.9
    -because you need few gears to enjoy somehow a neverending engine
    - and the 6.9 goes over 110 km/h in first gear and ~170 in second

    If I had to choose an older MB sedan to do the Stelvio then it would the W109 300 SEL 6.3
    - 4 speeds is better then 3
    - It weighs well over 150kg less than the 6.9
    - Power and torque are pretty similar

    You should come to Leh, India… Its named as the highest motorable way in the world for now… Since china may come up with one soon, they always does and a cheap one too :D … Anyway if you come here you can learn how to drive a ferrari at about 18000ft with 40% oxygen that in now altitude… the view is incredible but you will be gasping for air most of the time than enjoying the view…

    as a driving road not sure but many roads on New Zealand’s South Island are no less scenic if not more. you even can drive under a small tunnel constructed because of a waterfall that now runs over the top of it instead of over the road
